Production Technician

Not everyone wants to sit behind a desk all day.

Some people prefer building, assembling, fixing, creating and seeing the results of their work at the end of every shift.

That's exactly what our Production Technicians do.

At Mineral Technologies, you'll be part of a team manufacturing equipment used by mining operations around the world. From assembly and finishing through to packing and dispatch, no two days are quite the same. One day you could be assembling components, the next working with moulds, materials or production equipment as part of a team that takes pride in what they produce.  

Whether you've worked in manufacturing, warehousing, construction, production, trades or simply enjoy practical work, we're looking for people with a strong work ethic, a positive attitude and a willingness to learn. 

What you'll do

• Assemble, manufacture and prepare products to customer specifications
• Work with hand tools, powered tools and production equipment
• Support packing, dispatch and materials movement activities
• Complete quality checks and identify defects before products leave the workshop
• Read and follow drawings, work instructions and production schedules
• Record stock, production and inspection information accurately
• Maintain a safe, organised and productive work environment
• Work alongside experienced team members across manufacturing operations

What we're looking for

• A strong work ethic and reliable attendance
• Genuine interest in hands-on, practical work
• Experience in manufacturing, assembly, production, warehousing, trades or industrial environments is highly regarded but not essential
• Ability to work safely and follow instructions
• Good attention to detail and pride in your work
• Willingness to learn new skills and work across different production areas
• Team players who enjoy contributing to a positive workplace culture
