Site Engineer

The opportunity

We are looking for a Site Engineer to support the delivery of capital water and wastewater infrastructure projects across the Moreton Bay region, including sewer gravity mains, treatment plants, pump stations, network renewals and water main replacements.

This role will be a mix of site and office based out of Mango Hill or Caboolture where the project is located.

What you’ll do

• Develop, implement and maintain project ITPs, lot registers, inspection records and associated quality documentation.
• Manage hold points, witness points, testing requirements, material traceability,
• Coordinate inspections, testing and quality records with subcontractors, suppliers, surveyors and independent testing authorities.
• Support daily construction activities across open trench, trenchless, maintenance hole, commissioning and network tie-in works.
• Review drawings, specifications, design revisions and construction methodologies, and manage RFIs and field engineering queries.
• Prepare daily progress and weekly quality reports, monitor quality KPIs and support look-ahead planning, risk management and programme updates.
• Work collaboratively with project, client and subcontractor teams to maintain safety, environmental, quality, cost and programme outcomes.

What we’re looking for

• Bachelor of Civil Engineering or equivalent qualification.
• 3 + years experience delivering civil infrastructure projects.
• Demonstrated experience managing QA systems, ITPs, Lot Registers and project handover documentation on major infrastructure projects.
• Experience in gravity sewer, pipeline, utility, trenchless or water infrastructure projects.
• Strong understanding of quality management systems, inspection requirements, material traceability and compliance processes.
• Familiarity with SEQ Code, WSAA, Australian Standards and utility authority requirements.
• Strong communication, coordination and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively across both quality and construction functions.
