WHAT WE OFFER
THE OPPORTUNITY
We're looking for a Supporting Hand to join our team based in Dandenong South, working across the South East Water network.
This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys working outdoors, operating equipment and being part of a crew that keeps essential water services running. You'll work alongside experienced operators and technicians carrying out maintenance, repairs and emergency response work across the network.
Operating within a 24/7 maintenance contract, you'll be part of a team that responds to water main bursts, leaks, customer faults and planned maintenance activities. If you enjoy practical work, problem-solving and making a real difference in the community, this could be the role for you.
A typical day starts with a crew pre-start and vehicle checks before heading out to site. From there, you'll assist with excavation, maintenance and repairs, operate plant and equipment, help maintain safe work sites and complete job records electronically.
This role requires flexibility to work rotating day and afternoon shifts, along with participation in an on-call roster to support emergency response and after-hours works.
