Road Freight Operation Specialist

We are looking for a Road Freight Operation Specialist to join our team in İstanbul, Turkey. In this role, you will be responsible for managing end-to-end international road freight operations, coordinating closely with carriers, business partners, and customers to ensure efficient and timely execution. You will also support pricing, reporting, and documentation activities while contributing to the delivery of high-quality logistics services.

Your Responsibilities:

• Execute daily international road freight operations in line with customer requirements and company standards.
• Coordinate FTL and LTL shipments from booking through final delivery.
• Communicate with carriers, agents, and business partners to secure capacity and competitive transportation solutions.
• Monitor shipment status and proactively inform customers of delays, changes, or operational issues.
• Support pricing and tender activities by collecting market rates and carrier quotations.
• Assist in preparing weekly and monthly operational reports.
• Maintain accurate operational documentation, including CMRs, invoices, and customs-related documents.
• Work closely with the sales team to support existing customers and business development activities.
• Ensure timely and accurate system updates for operational tracking and reporting purposes.

Your Profile:

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree.
• 1–2 years of experience in international road freight operations.
• Knowledge of domestic and international transportation routes, logistics networks, and trade corridors.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in both Turkish and English.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience with Transport Management Systems (TMS) or similar logistics platforms is preferred.
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and customer service skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Detail-oriented, proactive, and results-driven approach.
• Strong teamwork and stakeholder management skills.
