What you will do

• Lead daily pharmacy fulfillment operations, assigning work and monitoring workflow to ensure patient orders are completed accurately and efficiently.
• Coordinate staffing, schedules, workload, and priorities to maintain coverage and meet service and productivity expectations.
• Coach and develop Fulfillment Technicians while managing goals, performance reviews, documentation, and corrective action when needed.
• Lead onboarding, training, and competency development for new and existing team members.
• Monitor quality through audits, trend analysis, and process reviews, taking action to improve accuracy and reduce operational risk.
• Ensure daily operations remain compliant with pharmacy regulations, company policies, privacy requirements, and established procedures.
• Resolve workflow, system, customer service, and operational escalations that could disrupt fulfillment.
• Partner with pharmacy leadership, HR, and other teams on workforce decisions and operational initiatives.
• Remain hands-on by performing authorized Fulfillment Technician duties when volume, staffing, or operational needs require additional support

What we look for

• 2+ years of pharmacy fulfillment, pharmacy technician, or closely related operations experience.
• Active pharmacy technician registration or license in each applicable state where required.
• Active Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) credential from a nationally recognized certifying organization.
• Previous formal supervisory or people-management experience within pharmacy fulfillment or another regulated healthcare environment is preferred.
• Strong understanding of pharmacy fulfillment workflows, quality requirements, technician responsibilities, and SOPs.
• Ability to lead and organize a team, monitor performance, coach employees, and address day-to-day workflow challenges.
• Sound judgment, organization, and communication skills with the ability to work effectively with pharmacists, leadership, HR, and other partners.
