    Job description

At MiniMed, you can begin a lifelong career of exploration and innovation, while helping make a difference in the lives of people living with diabetes around the globe. You'll lead with purpose, breaking down barriers to innovation for a more connected, compassionate world.

    About the Role

The Customer Marketing Specialist is responsible for delivering customer-facing activation and field execution that supports agreed MiniMed commercial priorities in the UK and Ireland. This role is focused on customer-facing activation and field execution. It works closely with Product Managers, Sales, Education, Medical, Regulatory, Operations, Customer Care, Digital and agency partners to turn agreed plans into practical campaigns, materials and follow-up activity.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Identify activation opportunities using customer insight, account feedback, field intelligence and campaign data.

    • Translate product and launch plans into customer-facing campaigns, field tools and compliant messaging.

    • Support launches through HCP pre-engagement, account materials, customer communications and campaign tracking.

    • Deliver installed base and retention communications.

    • Prepare field enablement and objection-handling tools.

    • Track performance and recommend corrective action.

    • Coordinate delivery across internal teams and agency partners.

    Experience and Qualifications:

    • Degree-level qualification required, ideally in marketing, business, life sciences or a related discipline.

    • Professional marketing qualification preferred, such as CIM, postgraduate marketing qualification, MBA with marketing focus, or equivalent senior-level marketing development.

    • Typically 8–10+ years’ experience in customer marketing, commercial marketing, brand marketing or launch activation.

    • Experience in healthcare, medical devices, pharmaceuticals, life sciences or another regulated commercial environment strongly preferred.

    • Proven ability to use insight, segmentation, performance data or market intelligence to identify opportunities and translate them into measurable activation plans.

    • Experience developing campaigns, field tools, customer journeys, account activation materials and compliant customer-facing messaging.

    • Launch experience involving complex products, regulated claims, multiple stakeholders and field deployment.

    • Strong commercial acumen, analytical confidence and ability to turn data into recommendations, initiatives and improved execution.

    • Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to secure support and collaborate effectively across functions.

This role suits a strong customer marketing or commercial activation specialist who can turn insight and agreed plans into practical customer programmes. The ideal candidate will be:

    • Customer curious: regularly looks for patterns in customer feedback, account performance, field input and campaign data to spot opportunities to improve engagement, retention or conversion.

    • Insight-to-action focused: turns observations into clear recommendations, practical initiatives and measurable activation plans.

    • Collaborative: works effectively across product, sales, education, medical, regulatory, operations and agency partners to keep delivery joined up.

    • Execution-focused: follows through from idea to delivery, managing campaigns, tools, timelines, approvals and field readiness with pace and discipline.

    • Constructively challenging: asks the right questions, challenges assumptions and recommends changes when activity is not delivering the required impact.

    Success Measures:

    • Stronger launch and account execution.

    • Improved quality and timeliness of customer-facing materials.

    • Better installed base and retention follow-up.

    • Measurable campaign performance.

    • Greater field confidence in priority customer conversations.
