Job Title: Senior CMP Field Service / Technical Lead

Location: Shanghai

Position Description:
Located in Shanghai to mainly focus on CMP pad engagements and issue handling for semiconductor customers in China.

Key Responsibilities

• Resolve complex performance challenges
  Act as the technical expert to diagnose and close critical product/process gaps, working cross-functionally with R&D, quality, and manufacturing to drive root cause investigation.
• Drive product adoption at key accounts
  Partner with sales to lead advanced product positioning, technical discussions, and customer demos to accelerate qualification and wins.
• Provide competitive and technology insights
  Organize regular technical sharing to deliver structured insights on CMP industry trends, CMP pad products, and application know-how sharing to drive deep technical value and new business opportunities.
• Build deep customer intimacy
  Engage at technical decision-maker level (process owners, integration leads) to strengthen strategic partnerships and expand footprint.
• Ensure high responsiveness in critical situations
  Strong Ownership mindset with high accountability under pressure. Lead urgent on-site support for escalations, ensuring rapid recovery and customer confidence.
• Lead quality and yield improvement initiatives
  Proactively identify risks and drive improvements to meet tight customer specs and next-node requirements.
• Own customer implementation & scaling
  Lead CMP pad & slurry integration from trial to high-volume manufacturing, ensuring stable process performance and yield impact.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Engineering, Materials Science, or Chemistry
• ≥5 years of hands-on CMP technical experience in semiconductor industry
  • Strong expertise in CMP process, pad/slurry interaction, and integration challenges
  • Proven track record in customer-facing technical roles (FAE / Application / Process)
• Fluent in Mandarin and English
• Proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint
• Result-driven with strong execution discipline
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple complex projects
