Machine Operator Responsibilities
- Carry out production, inspection, packaging and machine operation duties
- Setup machinery and effectively monitor production
- Make required adjustments to machinery as necessary
- Conduct quality spot checks at set intervals
- Perform appropriate duties as assigned by management
- Maintain a safe and clean work space
- High school diploma or GED required. Associate technical degree preferred.
- Prefer machine operating experience.
- Prefer mechanical aptitude.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to perform basic math functions such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, division.
- Ability to perform job safely.
- Ability to clean and organize work area (stack, sort, sweep, use solvents/cleaners, broom).
- Must have a good verbal and written understanding of the English language.
- Must be within a commutable distance to facility. Relocation support not offered.
Preferred Skills:
- Ability to read digital micrometers.
- Ability to read digital calipers.
- Ability to use manual lathes or mills.
- Ability to read and understand G and M codes.
