Maintenance Electronics Technician

• Ability to use PC and software to troubleshoot PLC’s and robotics.
• Responsible for set up and repair of VFD’s (Variable Frequency Drives) and servo controls.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering blue prints and electrical prints.
• Responsible for installing new production equipment along with required wiring.
• Installs, repairs, and troubleshoots electrical and mechanical breakdowns using electrical prints and multi-meter.  Cleans and lubricates shafts, bearings, gears, and other parts of machinery.
• Fabricate parts for repairs and machine upgrades.
• Inspects, tests, and assesses the functionality of machinery and equipment.
• Discusses any problems with the machinery or equipment with managers/supervisors.
• Utilizes the preventative maintenance schedule to conduct routine maintenance and safety checks.
• Designs, assembles, installs, and maintains pipe systems and related hydraulics and pneumatics.
• Prepares and submits maintenance reports including detailed issue reports.
• Follows all safety procedures and policies. Must be able to operate with a respirator on and maintain cleanliness of all safety equipment.

Starting pay within the range is dependent on skills, ability, education, and experience

- 2-Year certificate from a college or technical school; or 5 years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.

- Technical Certificate (Preferred)

- Electricians License (Desirable)
