About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Lead Specialist Global Mobility to support the delivery of our global mobility and immigration programs across Asia Pacific and other key markets. This role will serve as a trusted advisor to HR, business leaders, and employees, ensuring the successful management of international assignments, permanent transfers, business travel compliance, and immigration processes across the mobility moves.

As a key member of the Global Mobility team, you will partner closely with stakeholders across the business to provide practical, compliant, and employee-focused mobility solutions that support organizational growth and talent deployment strategies. You will manage complex mobility cases, oversee external service providers, and contribute to the continuous enhancement of global mobility policies, processes, and employee experiences.

Key Responsibilities

Mobility Operations

• Manage the end-to-end delivery of international assignments, permanent transfers, localization arrangements, and other global mobility programs.
• Act as the primary point of contact for employees, managers, HR Business Partners, and key business stakeholders throughout the mobility lifecycle.
• Provide expert guidance on mobility policies, relocation support, assignment structures, immigration requirements, and associated compliance considerations.
• Conduct mobility consultations and pre-departure briefings to ensure employees are fully informed regarding compensation, benefits, relocation services, immigration requirements, and assignment expectations.

• Build strong partnerships with HR Business Partners, Talent Acquisition, Reward, Payroll, Tax, Legal, and Finance teams.

Immigration and Compliance

• Partner with immigration providers to ensure timely and compliant processing of work authorization and immigration matters.
• Monitor immigration and mobility compliance requirements across APAC and other assigned regions.
• Escalate and mitigate potential compliance risks while ensuring adherence to company policies and local regulations.
• Support business traveler and remote work compliance initiatives as required.

Vendor Coordination

• Manage day-to-day interactions with mobility vendors.
• Monitor service delivery and employee feedback.
• Assist with issue resolution and service improvements.

Employee Experience

• Deliver exceptional employee support throughout the mobility journey.
• Provide tailored guidance for complex and senior-level transfers and assignments.
• Support leadership and executive mobility cases, ensuring a high-touch service experience when required.

Process Improvement and Projects

• Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of global mobility policies, procedures, and governance frameworks.
• Participate in regional and global mobility projects, including technology enhancements, process optimization initiatives, and policy reviews.

Qualifications and Experience Required

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Experience in global mobility, international HR, immigration, or expatriate management.
• Good understanding of international assignment management, relocation programs, and immigration processes.
• Experience working with external mobility vendors and service providers.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent stakeholder management and influencing capabilities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• High degree of cultural awareness and cross-cultural sensitivity.

Preferred

• Experience supporting APAC mobility programs.
• Knowledge of international tax and employment considerations related to global mobility.
• Experience with HRIS and mobility management systems such as Workday, Eqqus, or similar platforms.
• Project management experience and exposure to mobility transformation initiatives.
