    Job description

    Position Overview
    E-INFOSOL is seeking a mid-level Blackboard LMS Administrator to support the administration, maintenance, and day-to-day operation of a Blackboard Learning Management System (LMS) environment.
    The ideal candidate will have hands-on Blackboard administration experience combined with a strong understanding of training and learning environments. This individual will support instructors, training teams, and learners while helping transform existing training materials and curricula into organized, accessible digital learning experiences.

    Key Responsibilities
    • Administer and maintain the Blackboard LMS environment, including users, roles, permissions, courses, enrollments, and system configurations.
    • Create, configure, maintain, archive, and restore Blackboard courses and training content.
    • Provide technical and functional support to instructors, training administrators, and learners.
    • Troubleshoot LMS issues related to user access, course content, enrollments, assessments, and system functionality.
    • Support the digitization and migration of existing training curricula and instructional materials into Blackboard.
    • Work with training teams and subject matter experts to organize classroom-based or legacy training materials for effective online delivery.
    • Upload and manage training materials, assessments, videos, documents, learning activities, and other digital content.
    • Support the development and maintenance of online and blended-learning courses.
    • Assist with Blackboard integrations and third-party learning tools.
    • Monitor LMS performance, usage, course activity, and overall system health.
    • Generate reports related to training completion, enrollment, learner activity, and other program requirements.
    • Support LMS upgrades, testing, releases, and configuration changes.
    • Maintain LMS documentation, standard operating procedures, user guides, and training materials.
    • Ensure digital training content supports applicable accessibility and organizational requirements.
    • Coordinate with IT, training, instructional design, and program teams to support training objectives.
    Required Qualifications
    • 3–5 years of experience supporting or administering Learning Management Systems.
    • 2+ years of hands-on Blackboard administration experience.
    • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Instructional Technology, Education, Training and Development, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
      (Relevant professional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree depending on contract requirements.)
    • Experience managing Blackboard users, courses, enrollments, permissions, assessments, and reporting.
    • Experience supporting training, education, workforce development, or professional learning programs.
    • Experience converting or migrating traditional training materials into digital or LMS-based curricula.
    • Experience troubleshooting LMS and end-user issues.
    • Strong understanding of online learning and training delivery.
    • Ability to work directly with instructors, trainers, and subject matter experts.
    • Strong documentation, communication, organizational, and customer-service skills.
    • Ability to manage multiple courses, training requirements, and priorities.
    Preferred Qualifications
    • Experience with Blackboard Learn Ultra.
    • Experience digitizing instructor-led or classroom-based curricula.
    • Experience supporting federal government, DoD, law enforcement, higher education, or enterprise training environments.
    • Familiarity with SCORM, xAPI, LTI, or similar digital learning standards.
    • Knowledge of Section 508 and digital accessibility requirements.
    • Experience with multimedia training content, assessments, surveys, and learning evaluations.
    • Experience supporting LMS reporting and training-completion requirements.
    • Familiarity with instructional design principles and adult learning concepts.
