Responsibilities:
- Development and continuous improvement of innovative sealing solutions for compressors and other turbomachinery
- Independent management of development projects from concept phase through to successful market launch
- Planning, execution and evaluation of development, qualification and validation testing
- Design and further development of modular product platforms and intelligent modular systems for seal product families
- Close collaboration with international customers, suppliers, as well as manufacturing and service locations
- Contributing to future-oriented technologies for applications in hydrogen, CO₂, energy transition and decarbonization
- Development of sustainable and emission-free sealing solutions for a climate-friendly industry
Qualifications:
- Successfully completed degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Fluid Mechanics or a comparable engineering discipline
- Experience in the development and design of technical products, ideally in the field of turbomachinery, sealing technology or related industries
- Proficient in the use of modern 3D CAD systems
- Experience in leading technical development projects is desirable
- Analytical, structured and solution-oriented way of working, combined with a high level of initiative and sense of responsibility
- Strong teamwork and communication skills, with enthusiasm for working in interdisciplinary and international teams
- Very good written and spoken German and English skills, as well as willingness to undertake occasional international business travel
