Responsibilities:
- Identify and research prospective customers and projects within targeted industries based on defined sales strategies
- Conduct outreach to potential customers through phone, email, and professional networking platforms to generate interest and qualify opportunities
- Gather and validate key information including customer needs, decision-makers, and project timelines
- Document all prospecting activities, customer interactions, and opportunity details within the customer relationship management system
- Qualify leads and coordinate meetings between prospective customers and territory sales managers
- Support the transition of qualified leads and opportunities to the sales team for further development
- Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to support outbound campaigns and lead generation initiatives
- Provide regular updates and reporting on lead generation activities, pipeline progress, and overall performance
Qualifications:
- Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or a related field preferred
- 1–3 years of experience in lead generation, sales support, or business development
- Experience with customer outreach, including cold calling, email, or digital engagement methods
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage prospective customers effectively
- Ability to gather, analyze, and document customer and market information accurately
- Experience working with customer relationship management systems or similar tools preferred
- Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and follow-through
