Analyst in Activation is an entry-level role in Activation Business Unit at Ebiquity.
If you have good data and numerical skill and are interested in pursuing a career in the media industry this is the role for you. You will be given a fantastic opportunity to work across a wide range of media channels and industries, learn to use proprietary tools and technologies and how to communicate effectively with media agency stakeholders.
Activation collects, quality assure and process client media data for consistent and accurate measurement against agreed targets and benchmarks to support our clients with improved return on media investments.
Activation works closely with our client facing teams and collectively we ensure high-quality delivery of each client project.
Activation are superusers of our proprietary tools and technology as well as Microsoft products Teams, Excel, PowerBi and PowerPoints.
Activation is a globally distributed business unit, and you will be part of a community of likeminded colleagues located across APAC, Europe and the Americas.
During your onboarding you will learn media terminology, performance measurements solutions offered to the media procurement and marketing industry by Ebiquity as well as our proprietary suite of tools and technology specifically designed to deliver these solutions.
- Learn and use Ebiquity proprietary tools and technologies
- Learn and understand the structures, taxonomy and terminology of the client media data
- Learn media terminology and the methodologies and rule set for the performance measurements solutions you are working on.
- Collect, quality assure and process client media data from media agencies and / or Buying Platforms & Ad verification systems
- Visualise performance results accurately
- Support with performance analysis in excel based on clear guidance and instructions
- Liaising with media agencies to ensure timely and accurate data supply
- Use Project Management tools to effectively communicate the task completion across the client project delivery timespan
- Fluent in English, English (spoken and written) is essential for daily communication. French or German language skills are considered an advantage for this role.
- Numerate & analytical with attention to detail and ability to understand data quickly
- Interest in learning and using tools and technology
- Ability to structure and complete your task with confidence, accuracy and within deadlines when working on multiple client projects simultaneously
- High level of self-motivation and ability to perform remote work efficiently, with good communication and proactivity
- Strong interpersonal skills, with a “can-do” attitude and great team spirit
- Proficiency in Excel (Pivot Tables, formulas), PowerPoint and / or PowerBi
- Proficiency in Microsoft Teams or similar collaborations platforms for internal and external communication
- Education focused economics, computer science, information systems, business analytics, media & advertising, marketing or similar
- Interest in the media and advertising marketplace
- Understanding of the media ecosystem from working with media planning, media buying, ad-operations or similar is a plus
