Data Analyst – Global Wave Group
Location: Albany, Auckland (Office based)
Reports to: Head of Data
Key Responsibilities
- Clean, transform, and organize data from multiple sources.
- Support data validation, quality assurance, and error-checking processes.
- Build and maintain dashboards and reports using Excel, Power BI, or Tableau.
- Conduct basic statistical analysis to identify trends and patterns.
- Assist in preparing data-driven insights and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
- Collaborate with team members to support ongoing projects and ad-hoc data requests.
Essential Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Finance, or related disciplines (fresh graduates are welcome).
- Proficient in Excel with a solid foundation in SQL.
- Familiar with data tools such as Python, R, Power BI, or Tableau.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical thinking.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills in both English and Mandarin.
Desirable
- Internship or project experience in data analysis.
- Prior experience in a corporate or business environment.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Understanding of data privacy and security best practices.
Working hours: 1:00 PM – 9:30 PM
