Senior Social Development and Gender Specialist: Qualification and
experience:
Post-Graduation in Sociology / other relevant field.- At least 10 years of overall experience in designing and implementing social assessment / development programmes in large-scale infrastructure projects, including 5 years of project implementation supervision and monitoring.
- The specialist should have working experience on issues pertaining to vulnerable community, resettlement and rehabilitation, religion and gender and a solid background on handling consultations with multiple stake holders, at least in one World Bank project.
- The Expert should be conversant in English
Role: As a part of the team, he/she will have the key responsibility of ensuring effective review and integration of social safeguards during into the designing and survey, implementation monitoring and supervision based on the
ESMP/ARAP, CESMP and work contract. - He/she will also co-ordinate with other
Govt. - Departments, in formation / mobilization / updating / of community-based institution and their capacity building.
- He / she will also co-ordinate with all the stakeholders in implementation of ARAP, its monitoring and review.
- She/he will maintain a records/status of various social incidents, issues and submit monthly/quarterly reports accordingly, follow up with the WPNG, various line
