We are seeking an enthusiastic Diploma Educator to join our team at Oakhill Family Centre.

For over thirty years, Oakhill has been providing high-quality early childhood education in our local community. Our nurturing and experienced educators partner with families to create play-based learning programs that build on each child’s interests and abilities, helping them develop essential social, emotional, physical, language, and cognitive skills.

Since 2018, ECMS has continued to offer a unique blend of sessional and integrated kindergarten, early learning and care, all within our vibrant Community Hub. This includes the active involvement of the Parent Activity Group and the convenience of an onsite Maternal Child Health Nurse, ensuring families receive comprehensive support.

 

This is an ongoing, full-time position working 38 hours a week from Monday to Friday on a rotating roster with one monthly rostered day off.

About you

• You're reflective, curious and purpose-led, with a deep commitment to making a difference.
• You're open to learning and understanding the unique needs of every child.
• You're a critical thinker and collaborative team member.
• You have a drive to grow and improve continually.
• You value kindness and respect.
• You have great knowledge of the child safe standards and early childhood regulations.
• You hold a Diploma in Early Childhood Education or equivalent, a current WWCC, Mandatory Reporting Certificate, Foundations of Child Safety training certificate, Police Check, and First Aid in an Education and Care Setting certificate.
