<div><strong><u>Job Summary </u></strong></div><div>We are looking for an experienced Apigee API Management Consultant with over 6 years of expertise in Apigee Edge and Apigee X platforms. The ideal candidate will have strong business and technical acumen in API design, development, exception handling, and implementation strategies.
This role requires hands-on experience in developing API proxies, reusable shared flows, and security frameworks while leading technical teams through multi-phased delivery projects.&nbsp;</div><div><br></div><div><strong><u> Must-Have Skills (Mandatory)</u></strong></div><div>- 6+ years of experience in API Management with Apigee Edge and Apigee X.&nbsp;</div><div>- Strong expertise in designing API proxies, API products, portals, apps, and administrative tasks (KVM, caches, flow hooks, TLS keystore updates, user roles, virtual hosts setup).&nbsp;</div><div>- Experience in developing and maintaining API proxies based on consumer needs, including enhancing existing APIs.&nbsp;</div><div>- Hands-on experience in building reusable shared flows for security, transformation, logging, and error handling.&nbsp;</div><div>- Strong understanding of REST APIs/RESTful Web Services and API development best practices.&nbsp;</div><div>- Experience conducting requirements gathering workshops and leading solution design processes.&nbsp;</div><div>- Ability to guide and mentor technical teams through complex multi-phased delivery projects.&nbsp;</div><div>- Knowledge of software development processes and tools for testing &amp; troubleshooting APIs (e.g., Postman).&nbsp;</div><div><br></div><div><strong><u> Good-to-Have Skills (Optional)</u></strong>&nbsp;</div><div>- Experience with Google Stackdriver for monitoring and logging.&nbsp;</div><div>- Exposure to Code, Configuration, and Build management tools such as GIT and Jenkins.&nbsp;</div><div>- Experience identifying risks and pain points in projects and implementing mitigation measures.&nbsp;</div><div>- Prior experience mentoring and training internal teams on API design and architecture best practices.&nbsp;</div><div><br></div><div><strong><u> Qualifications &amp; Experience</u></strong></div><div>- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.&nbsp;</div><div>- 6+ years of relevant experience in API Management and Apigee platform solutions.&nbsp;</div>
