EGD Gr 10 - 12 Teacher

Simond Private School is seeking a dynamic and passionate EGD Teacher to inspire and guide learners across Grades 8–12. This role involves delivering high-quality instruction in Engineering and Graphic Design (IEB), while possibly also contributing to other relevant teaching within the CAPS and IEB frameworks.

The ideal candidate is a committed educator who combines strong subject expertise with innovative teaching methods, effectively integrating technology to enhance learning. Beyond the classroom, the teacher plays a vital role in learner development, assessment, and meaningful engagement with parents and colleagues.

Requirements

• Relevant tertiary qualification in EGD or equivalent.
• SACE registration – essential.
• Minimum of 3–5 years’ teaching experience in EGD Education will be advantageous.
• IEB experience advantageous.
• Strong classroom management and learner engagement skills.
• Proficient in integrating technology into teaching.
• Police clearance and clearance from the National Register for Sex Offenders (NRSO).
