Job Summary
The Construction Management Intern gains hands-on exposure to both the office and field sides of construction, assisting the project management and field supervision teams with day-to-day tasks under the guidance of the Project Managers/Senior Project Managers/Assistant Project Managers and Superintendent/Assistant Superintendent.
Key Responsibilities
- Assists with RFIs, submittals, meeting minutes, and daily field reports (daily, punch lists, and material/equipment tracking).
- Shadows project meetings, jobsite walks, and subcontractor coordination
- Gains exposure to scheduling, budgeting, procurement, and site logistics
- Supports HSE and quality compliance efforts on assigned projects
- Attends career-fair-connected activities and association events as opportunities allow (ABC, NAIOP, ULI)
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field
- No prior experience required; coursework or prior internship exposure a plus
- Comfortable working both in the office and on active jobsites
- Strong communication skills and eagerness to learn
