BIM Coordinator, to support and coordinate the process of managing and creating digital information of different kinds. As an interdisciplinary position, a modelling coordinator ensures that information and data flow in a specific order according to standard BIM methodology.
To accomplish this, the coordinator works with BIM managers/coordinators and specialists, connecting these two important areas of construction teams to ensure that projects run efficiently and comply with BIM management guidelines. Modelling coordinators essentially establish and maintain BIM workflows, resolving any coordination issues that may arise, additional support will be required to support interface parties and our supply chain.

Project Management: Assist in delivering and managing projects from design to construction, ensuring compliance with standards.
Best Practices Implementation: Implement consistent processes and liaise with stakeholders and supply chain to ensure standards are applied.
Quality Assurance: Manage quality processes and standards for all deliverables, including information exchange and conversion.
3D CAD Model Creation: Use Bentley ProjectWise, OpenBuilding Designer, and MicroStation for detailed 3D CAD models and documentation. Ensure models are coordinated and utilise clash avoidance tools.
Clash Detection and Coordination: Work with BIM leads to optimize clash results using suppression rules. Produce high-quality 3D models and detailed drawings for railway station projects.
Model Geometry and Information: Create model geometry and information in line with the Component Catalogue and BIM Execution Plan (BEP). Ensure models meet project requirements and implement systems for clash avoidance and detection.
Collaboration and Support: Support and liaise with the BIM Coordinator, BIM Manager, and project team to resolve issues and adhere to standards.
Data Management: Maintain the ProjectWise Common Data Environment, ensuring accurate and timely information flow and data management standards compliance.
