Help shape the infrastructure of tomorrow

We’re looking for an experienced environmental professional to join our team and play a key role in delivering high-quality environmental assessments for major infrastructure and development projects.

This is a hands-on role where you’ll have the opportunity to lead projects, work with multidisciplinary teams, engage with clients and stakeholders, and influence environmental outcomes from the earliest stages of project development through to delivery.

    The Opportunity

You’ll take ownership of projects from inception to completion, providing trusted environmental and technical advice while building strong relationships with clients, project teams and stakeholders.

    Your role will include:

    • Leading the delivery of EIA/EIAR projects, from early constraints and option appraisal through to final reporting.
    • Providing technical environmental input to project design, data collection, analysis and assessment.
    • Managing multidisciplinary teams, sub-consultants, clients and stakeholders to deliver projects successfully.
    • Reviewing EIA chapters and technical reports to ensure quality, completeness and regulatory compliance.
    • Managing project budgets, fees, invoicing, programmes and client expectations.
    • Supporting public consultation, stakeholder engagement, regulatory hearings and responses to statutory queries and RFIs.
    • Preparing proposals, tenders, scopes and specifications for third-party services.
    • Developing and strengthening client relationships and identifying opportunities for future collaboration.
    • Mentoring and supporting junior team members, helping to develop the next generation of environmental professionals.
    • Keeping ahead of emerging environmental legislation, policy, best practice and industry innovation.

    What You’ll Bring

We’re looking for someone with pratical experience in environmental consultancy, environmental engineering or a related environmental discipline who is ready to take the next step in their career.

    Ideally, you’ll have:

    • Experience leading EIA/EIAR delivery and managing multidisciplinary teams, preferably on major infrastructure projects.
    • Strong knowledge of UK planning and environmental legislation, policy and practice.
    • Experience supporting or leading public consultation and stakeholder engagement.
    • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to balance competing priorities, resources, budgets and deadlines.
    • Strong technical, analytical and critical-thinking skills, with excellent report-writing ability.
    • A high level of attention to detail and a commitment to delivering quality work.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the confidence to work with clients, regulators and stakeholders.
    • A proactive, collaborative and self-motivated approach, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Membership of, or progress towards membership of, a relevant professional body such as CIEEM or IEMA; Chartered Environmentalist status would be an advantage.

    Why Join Us?

This is an opportunity to work on meaningful, high-profile projects, have a genuine influence on environmental outcomes, and develop your career within a collaborative and forward-thinking team.

If you’re an experienced environmental professional looking for a role where you can take ownership, make a difference and grow your influence, we’d love to hear from you.
