Registered Dietitian – Pediatric Specialty Care

Pediatric Specialty Care is currently seeking a compassionate and knowledgeable Registered Dietitian to join our interdisciplinary team and support the health, growth, and overall well-being of the children we serve.

Responsibilities

In this role, you will provide comprehensive nutrition assessments, develop and monitor individualized nutrition plans, evaluate progress, and collaborate closely with nursing, medical, and other clinical professionals to ensure each child’s nutritional needs are appropriately addressed.

The Registered Dietitian will also maintain accurate and organized clinical documentation, monitor nutrition-related outcomes, and conduct routine audits related to nutrition and food services to support quality, safety, and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications & Requirements

• • Bachelor of Science degree or higher in Nutrition, Dietetics, or a related field from an accredited educational program.

  • Current Pennsylvania Certified Dietitian-Nutritionist (CDN) credential.

  • Active and ongoing registration with the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR).

  • Minimum of three years of relevant professional experience.

  • Must be 21 years of age or older.

  • Previous experience in long-term care, pediatric care, or a healthcare setting preferred.

  • Active membership in the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics preferred.

  • Strong clinical assessment, documentation, organizational, and communication skills.

  • Ability to collaborate effectively as part of an interdisciplinary healthcare team.

  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.

  • Knowledge of applicable nutrition, food service, quality, and regulatory standards.
