But historically reaching this high-temperature heat cost-effectively required burning fossil fuels, making the industrial sector responsible for 25% of global greenhouse gas emissions.
Electrified Thermal Solutions has a simple and massive goal: to electrify industry.
To do this, we are building the Joule Hive™ thermal battery: an energy storage technology that converts and stores cheap, renewable electricity as high-temperature heat. Our vision is to mitigate gigatons of CO2 emissions per year by deploying the Joule Hive™ at every industrial furnace, turbine, boiler, and kiln.
That vision is already commercial: our first full-scale Joule Hive™ system - electrically conductive firebricks turning the grid's cheapest hours into 1,800°C heat - is operating today. We have a manufacturing facility and produce our own E-bricks, have opened sales offices internationally, and count among our investors some of the largest companies in cement, mining, and steel.
Electrified Thermal is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Head of Marketing to own the company's voice end to end: product marketing that converts Europe's industrial-heat pain into qualified pipeline, corporate marketing that builds executive voices in front of named investors and customers, and management of external agencies to countable monthly deliverables. We seek a candidate with a track record of building a marketing strategy in a technical, industrial category and then personally executing against it. The successful candidate will be equally comfortable setting the message house, calendar, and measurement framework as writing the byline, briefing the reporter, and editing the agency's draft the same afternoon.
The ideal candidate will be comfortable operating as our first marketing hire in a start-up/high-growth environment and bring a flexible, positive attitude as they do what it takes to make Electrified Thermal the defining voice in industrial electrification.
