    About the role

As part of our Global Finance Shared Services (GFSS), we are looking for a GFSS RTR Lead Accountant to drive high‑quality, compliant, and efficient Record‑to‑Report (RtR) processes across the assigned country or Commercial Area.

This role sits at the core of financial integrity, ensuring accurate statutory and group reporting in line with IFRS, Electrolux Global Finance Policies, and internal control standards. You will play a key role in business partnering, audit coordination, tax accounting, and continuous improvement initiatives, while leading by example within a complex, multicultural shared services environment.

    What you will do

In this role, you will take ownership of end‑to‑end RtR activities within the GFSS scope, ensuring robust financial oversight, transparent reporting, and strong internal controls. You will act as a trusted finance partner to local teams, Group functions, and auditors, while contributing to transformation and continuous improvement initiatives that strengthen efficiency, accuracy, and compliance.

As a GFSS RTR Lead Accountant, you will apply strong technical accounting expertise, sound judgement, and analytical thinking to resolve complex accounting matters, support audit processes, and ensure timely and high‑quality financial deliverables.

In detail, you will be responsible for:

    Financial Oversight & Reporting

    • Ensuring all accounting and reporting activities within GFSS scope comply with Electrolux Global Finance Policies, Process Standards, and IFRS
    • Supporting end‑to‑end accounting processes for assigned countries or Commercial Areas
    • Preparing and reviewing balance sheet and P&L analyses, including anomaly reporting
    • Reviewing group reporting submissions, commentary, and timely delivery
    • Posting and reviewing complex journal entries such as impairments, accruals, provisions, payroll‑related accounting, incentives, and holiday pay
    • Managing technical accounting topics including lease accounting and revenue recognition
    • Reviewing complex balance sheet reconciliations

    Stakeholder Management & Audit

    • Building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders across Group, local finance, and external partners
    • Coordinating internal and external audits for processes within GFSS scope
    • Acting as a key contact point for auditors and ensuring timely, accurate information delivery

    Controls, Tax & Continuous Improvement

    • Ensuring strong internal controls design and execution within RTR processes
    • Supporting tax accounting activities including VAT/GST, local taxes, deferred taxes, provisions, reconciliations, and postings (as per SLA)
    • Translating Group Accounting and Financial Controlling policies into GFSS and BPO execution
    • Driving improvements to methodologies, tools, and processes at team and department level
    • Actively identifying efficiency, automation, and quality improvement opportunities across GFSS

    Qualifications and Competencies

    • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance or Accounting
    • ACCA, CIMA, or local equivalent accounting qualification is an advantage
    • Minimum 5 years of experience in Record‑to‑Report (RtR)
    • Strong knowledge of financial accounting, reporting, and IFRS
    • Experience in accounting operations, financial analysis, and team leadership
    • Solid understanding of internal controls, process management, and continuous improvement
    • Experience in a multinational and/or Shared Services environment is beneficial
    • SAP and SAP S/4HANA experience is advantageous
    • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
    • Proficiency in English is required
    • Availability to work second shift during month-end closing

    Where you will be

This is a full‑time position, based in Kraków, Poland, within our Global Finance Shared Services organization. We work in a hybrid model (5 days of remote work per month + 3 additional days during month end closing).
