Position Overview
The contractor will identify prospective customers, conduct outreach, qualify opportunities, and maintain
accurate engagement records. Services are delivered independently in accordance with agreed project objectives, timelines, quality standards, and compliance requirements.
Scope & Deliverables
The contractor may be responsible for:
- Generating prospect lists and conducting outbound prospecting via email, phone, LinkedIn, or other approved channels
- Researching, identifying, and reviewing prospective customer data within assigned markets
- Researching target accounts and identifying relevant market signals to inform outreach and timing
- Conducting discovery conversations and assessing fit
- Qualifying leads using agreed qualification criteria
- Setting appointments and scheduling meetings with qualified prospects using approved calendaring systems
- Communicating with prospects via email using approved templates and messaging guidelines
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date prospect and activity records in approved systems
- Reviewing and updating lead status, engagement history, and opportunity notes in real time
- Providing qualified leads and relevant engagement notes to the appropriate sales contact
- Preparing periodic activity or pipeline updates as agreed
- Participating in project coordination meetings where required
- Following applicable client messaging, brand, confidentiality, and compliance requirements
Qualifications
- Previous experience in business development, sales development, outbound prospecting, or related field
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills
- Experience communicating professionally with prospective customers and business stakeholders
- Familiarity with CRM, prospecting, and sales engagement platforms
- Familiarity with Office 365 (Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams) or equivalent tools
- Comfort working with spreadsheets and account/reporting trackers
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to work independently and manage deliverables
- Reliable internet connection and appropriate equipment

- Protect confidential, client, and prospect information
- Use only approved systems, data, messaging, and communication channels
- Follow applicable legal, regulatory, privacy, and compliance requirements
- Promptly communicate material issues affecting deliverables
Resources Provided
Where required, contractor may be provided access to CRM platforms, communication tools, prospecting and research tools, client information, and project-specific systems. All access is subject to confidentiality and data protection requirements.
Equipment
Contractor provides suitable computer equipment, reliable internet connectivity, professional working environment, and maintains
appropriate security and equipment maintenance.
Engagement Structure
This is an independent contractor engagement governed by a separate Independent Services Agreement. Deliverables, compensation, term, invoicing, confidentiality, data protection, and termination provisions will be outlined in the formal agreement. This document does not create an employment relationship.
