RESPONSIBILITIES
Project management
- Manage multiple construction and facilities projects from pre-construction planning through project closeout.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, scopes of work, and construction timelines.
- Coordinate general contractors, subcontractors, architects, engineers, vendors, and suppliers throughout all project phases.
- Oversee bid solicitation, contractor selection, contract administration, and procurement activities.
- Serve as a communication hub between Design, Construction, Facilities, campus teams, and external partners.
- Maintain accurate project documentation, reporting, and forecasting.
Facilities & Capital Improvements
- Facilitate renovations, campus expansions, infrastructure upgrades, and capital improvement projects across multiple locations.
- Coordinate building repairs, maintenance projects, and system replacements, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and life-safety systems.
- Serve as the primary point of contact between Facilities, Construction, Design, Operations, campus leadership, and external partners.
MUST-HAVES
- Active participation in a church (we look for a lifestyle of inviting people to church, volunteering, generosity, and prioritizing community)
- Knowledge of contractor procurement, bidding processes, contract administration, and vendor management
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects.
- Proficiency with project management software and digital collaboration tools.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills across teams.
NICE-TO-HAVES
- Experience working in a non-profit environment or ministry setting
- Background in commercial, institutional, hospitality, educational, or ministry construction.
- Experience with Procore, Autodesk Construction Cloud, Bluebeam, Smartsheet, or similar construction management platforms.
- Familiarity with permitting, inspections, and municipal approval processes.
- Experience leading renovation and occupied-space construction projects.
DAY-TO-DAY
- We’re typically a Sunday-Thursday work environment. Monday-Thursday, we’re in the office (8:30AM - 5PM); on Sunday, we’re supporting the weekend worship experience either directly in our roles or by choosing a weekly serving opportunity at one of our Elevation Church campuses. (Note: There will be after-hours and on-call expectations included in this role. Our Operations team works hard to prevent issues, and we work together to support each other and our campuses when issues do arise).
- There’s a lot to accomplish each week, so we’re pretty fast-paced. We’re also not afraid to pivot a strategy or project quickly to meet the needs of the weekend - adaptability is a key competence for us.
- Yes, we work hard. But we’re good at playing hard, too. We’re a creative staff, so there’s no shortage of activities around our offices to have some fun!
