Automotive Service Technician - Ford Truck Fleet

Elite is seeking an experienced Automotive Diagnostic Technician to maintain and repair a large fleet of Ford trucks and fleet vehicles that support our landscaping and maintenance operations across California.

Our fleet consists primarily of Ford F-150, F-250, F-350, F-450, and F-750 trucks. We're looking for a hands-on technician who enjoys diagnostics, troubleshooting complex mechanical and electrical issues, and taking pride in keeping vehicles safe, reliable, and on the road.

This is not an entry-level position. We're looking for a skilled technician who can work independently, accurately diagnose problems, and help minimize vehicle downtime.

What You'll Do

As part of our Fleet Maintenance team, you will:

• Diagnose and repair engine performance, drivability, electrical, brake, steering, suspension, and driveline issues.
• Troubleshoot electrical systems, wiring, charging systems, lighting, and vehicle accessories.
• Perform preventative maintenance, inspections, and scheduled service on fleet vehicles.
• Utilize diagnostic software, scan tools, and testing equipment to identify vehicle concerns.
• Complete repairs efficiently and accurately to minimize fleet downtime.
• Inspect vehicles to identify potential issues before they become costly breakdowns.
• Maintain service records, repair documentation, and preventative maintenance schedules.
• Collaborate with team members to prioritize repairs and keep operations running smoothly.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe shop environment.
• Respond to occasional emergency repairs when operational needs require.

Ideal Candidate
