We’re looking for a Motor Claims Officer to join our team and support customers throughout the motor claims process. This is a varied role where you’ll handle claims from initial notification through to settlement, working with customers and colleagues to ensure each claim is managed efficiently and professionally.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle and process motor claims, ensuring all required information and documentation is accurately recorded.
• Guide customers through the claims process, providing clear and timely updates on the progress of their claim.
• Process surveys, bills and other documentation relating to motor claims.
• Work closely with colleagues to assess liability and support the fair and efficient settlement of claims.
• Ensure claims are handled in line with legal and regulatory requirements, internal procedures and the Company’s customer service standards.

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for someone who:

• Has an advanced level of education.
• Is responsible, accountable and takes ownership of their work.
• Has excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Is organised, attentive to detail and able to manage multiple claims and priorities.
• Communicates confidently and effectively in both Maltese and English.
• Previous experience within the local insurance industry and/or knowledge of the automotive sector would be considered an asset.
