Job Description:
Designation: Senior Integration Engineer – AOSP (Automotive ECU)
Exp : 7 -10 years
Location : Bangalore
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain system stability, traceability, and version control throughout integration cycles.
Collaborate with client teams to verify integration success and execute STS tests.
Document integration workflows, patch impacts, and resolutions.
Work closely with CI/CD teams to ensure merged code compiles and passes baseline test criteria.
Integrate monthly AOSP security and feature patches into a custom Android-based ECU platform. Resolve complex multi-branch merge conflicts and ensure successful upstream/downstream code alignment.
Required Skills:
Expert in Git, Gerrit, repo-based workflows, and handling large-scale code merges.
Strong understanding of AOSP repo tool, manifest management, and build flows.
Experience maintaining clean multi-branch strategies (e.g., long-term support vs feature branches).
Solid understanding of Linux kernel, HALs, init/system services, and Android build system.
Optional / Nice to have:
Scripting knowledge (Python/Bash) to automate merge and diff operations.
Familiarity with Github actions or other CI tools for automated patch validation.
