Senior QA Engineer - Cybersecurity Functional testing

Work Location: Bangalore

Education: B.E/B.Tech or Equivalent

Required Skills:

• Good to fair knowledge of ISO 21434 (Automotive Cybersecurity standard) Hands-on experience in integration testing of cybersecurity features

• Strong experience in functional testing

• Experience with Vehicle Key Management System (VKMS)

• Experience with Secure On-board Communication (SoK)

• Experience with Secure Service-Oriented Architecture (SSOA)

• Linux Hardening

• Android Hardening

• Intrusion Detection System (IDS)

• R&D; Token / Authentication mechanisms (e.g., Blade Authentication)

• Good interpersonal and communication skills

Good to Have Skills

• Relevant qualification or certification with a security specialization

• Knowledge of automotive communication protocols (e.g., CAN, LIN, Ethernet)

• Experience with automotive bus and protocol analysis tools

Key Responsibilities

• Perform functional and integration testing of automotive cybersecurity features

• Validate implementations aligned with ISO 21434 standards

• Test and verify security modules such as VKMS, SoK, SSOA

• Conduct Linux and Android security hardening validation

• Identify, log, and track defects and vulnerabilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for secure feature integration

• Support debugging and root cause analysis of security-related issues

• Ensure adherence to quality and cybersecurity compliance standards
