Work Shift:
Night - 8 Hour (United States of America)Under general direction of the Clinical Pharmacy Manager, fulfills all legal requirements, including evaluation, selection, procurement and distribution of drugs, counseling, and professional consultation. Ensures compliance with all state and federal regulations as well as policies of Houston Healthcare. Interprets physician prescriptions and medication orders. Compounds and dispenses prescribed medications and other pharmaceuticals and related products for patient care by performing related duties. Responsible for supervising technicians on duty during shift.
