Position Overview
Industrial Air Technology Corp. is seeking a Junior Product Engineer to support engineering, estimating, product development, and continuous improvement activities. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent Mechanical Engineering graduate or early-career engineer who wants to gain hands-on experience with industrial equipment, manufacturing, product support, and engineering automation.
The selected candidate will work closely with an experienced Product Manager and receive direct mentoring while developing expertise in industrial fan products, estimating, engineering support, and product management.
Work Arrangement
This is a hybrid position with a combination of remote and onsite work.
Important: Initial onboarding and training will take place primarily at our Gaylord manufacturing facility. Ongoing onsite participation will be required periodically for training, manufacturing coordination, product development, and engineering support activities. Candidates must be able to report onsite with limited advance notice when business needs require.
Key Responsibilities
- Support engineering, sales, and estimating teams with technical information for quotes and projects.
- Learn industrial fan products, applications, and engineering fundamentals.
- Assist with drawing reviews, bill of material reviews, product documentation, and project support.
- Maintain engineering guides, estimating resources, and product documentation.
- Support development and testing of engineering and quoting automation tools.
- Utilize SolidWorks, Excel, and Microsoft 365 tools to improve workflows and organize product data.
- Collaborate with manufacturing, customer service, and engineering teams to support project requirements.

Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering preferred
- Entry-level and early-career engineers encouraged to apply
- Experience with SolidWorks
- Experience with Excel, VBA, or engineering software tools
- Interest in industrial equipment, manufacturing, and product engineering
