The College of Law at Kalba University seeks to appoint a full-time faculty member to teach courses in Islamic Sharia. Responsibilities
- Teach Islamic Sharia courses to undergraduate law students.
- Employ innovative and effective teaching methods to engage and inspire students.
- Contribute to curriculum development and improvement within the department.
- Engage in professional participation with relevant professional institutions.
- Provide academic advising and guidance to students.
- Contribute to departmental and university service through committee participation, academic advising, and other activities.

Research Record:
Applicants must possess a strong research record, demonstrated through publications in reputable, peer-reviewed journals indexed in the Scopus database. Applicants are also required to have an appropriate H-index reflecting significant scholarly impact and contributions in the field of Islamic Sharia/Fiqh.
Qualifications
- A PhD in Islamic Sharia with a specialization in Islamic Jurisprudence (Fiqh and its Principles).
- Research experience demonstrated through publications in reputable academic journals.
- Teaching experience in Introduction to Islamic Jurisprudence, Family Law (Marriage and Divorce), Inheritance and Wills, and Principles of Islamic Jurisprudence.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, students, and external stakeholders.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to complete assigned tasks within designated timelines.
- Proficiency in both Arabic and English.
