Role Overview:
The Safety Specialist supports all safety, health, and environmental (HSE) activities across the full lifecycle of a power generation site, including construction, generator installation, commissioning, plant operations, and service/maintenance operations. This role helps identify hazards, monitor field conditions, conduct training, and ensure compliance with project HSE plans and regulatory requirements. The Safety Specialist works closely with project and plant management teams, technicians, and contractors to maintain a safe work environment and promote a strong safety culture.
This is a site-based role but will require up to 25% travel. During project assignments, the Safety Specialist may support and travel for corporate safety initiatives such as procedure development, audits, inspections, incident review, and training support.
