Due to our continued growth and success, we are currently recruiting an Electrical Panel Assembler to join our team at our office located in Port Coquitlam. enCompass Solutions Group services customers in a variety of markets, including Ports and Terminals, Industrial (Metals, Paper, Chemical, Mining), General Industry (Automotive, Manufacturing), Utility (Power Plants, Water and Wastewater), Marine, Oil and Gas, Mining, and others.

What You'll Be Doing

The duties of the Electrical Panel Assembler include but are not limited to:

• Assemble Industrial Control Panels (ICP’s) to provided drawing sets
• Review BOM’s to ensure all devices and materials are available prior to assembly
• Mount electrical components i.e. terminal blocks, control relays, circuit breakers, VFD’s, PLC’s, HMI’s, power supplies, etc. and correctly terminate to provided drawing sets
• Interpret and act upon electrical schematics and layouts and red line if necessary
• Assist in the test setup and certification of ICP’s
• Work with the Team to improve panel assembly process and techniques
• Work safely and efficiently with various hand and power tools such as screw drivers, drills, jig saw, ferrule crimpers, forklift, etc. and maintain a high standard of conduct

Who You Are

If you are the ideal candidate, you function well in a fast-paced environment and take pride in being meticulous and thorough. The following are requirements needed to be successful in this role:

• Experienced with electrical schematics and layouts; willing to learn, share, and train
• 2 years of industrial control panel assembling or similar experience
• Highly detail oriented, organized, good MS Office skills
• Ability to work independently as required
• Ideally you have your UL508A MTR certification, or you are willing to work towards certificatio
• Opportunity for growth into a Supervisory role
