Understand the layout of ductwork systems and equipment; read blueprints. Understand new construction and retrofit projects. Use knowledge of Sheet Metal and Air Conditioning Contractors' National Association “SMACNA” for ductwork installation. Order materials in advance for projects or work with purchasing team. Execute work independently and able to supervise and lead multiple crews to complete projects. Proactively evaluate possible obstacles to project completion and determine possible solutions in partnership with super intendent or builder and management.

Help schedule projects and appropriate technician and installer support to achieve project deadlines. Attend team meetings as needed. Required Skills & Experience HVAC Residential Sheet-Metal Crew Leader Current Connecticut trade license. Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and decision-making skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks with attention to detail. Reliable, proactive, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.

Excellent attendance and leadership skills. Must have reliable transportation. This position requires a valid driver’s license. Eligible to work weekends and nights as needed.
