YOUR ROLE
As a Histopathology Laboratory Technician at Enveda, you will be the technical backbone of our tissue processing and slide preparation workflow — producing high-quality sections and stains that allow our pathologists to evaluate drug safety and disease biology with precision. Your work sits at the intersection of rigorous technique and scientific impact, directly supporting preclinical programmes advancing toward patients. 

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Accession, log, and verify tissue specimens against requisition forms; embed processed tissue in paraffin blocks and cut high-quality sections (3-5 microns) using a microtome

• Perform routine H&E staining and specialised histochemical and immunohistochemical (IHC) stains as required by study protocols

• Operate, clean, and maintain laboratory instrumentation including automated processors, embedding stations, microtomes, and slide stainers

• Monitor stain quality, maintain precise documentation, and participate in daily QC checks to meet internal and regulatory standards

• Adhere strictly to biohazard, chemical safety (including formalin handling), and waste disposal protocols; support continuous improvement of SOPs

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Technology (DMLT/BMLT), Histotechnology, or a closely related discipline

1-5 years of active experience in a histopathology or surgical pathology laboratory with proven proficiency in high-volume microtomy and block embedding

Hands-on experience with H&E, histochemical staining, and IHC; familiarity with Laboratory Information Systems (LIS)

Exceptional attention to detail, strong hand-eye coordination, and ability to maintain quality under tight deadlines
