Intern – Design & Construction Intern

This student internship is being offered as a part of EO's Ignite Internships program and is for high school students only. The intern must be at least 16 and have reliable transportation. This internship is offered in partnership with BurWil Construction Company. This position is in person, located Bristol, VA, not remote. Students will be employed by BurWil Construction Company and all hiring decisions will be made by BurWil Construction Company personnel. BurWil Construction Company has provided the following job description for this internship:
Gain hands-on experience in the world of design and construction while working alongside an experienced project team. This internship offers exposure to the office operations for a design and construction company providing the opportunity to see how projects progress from planning and design through construction. The intern will support a variety of project and administrative tasks while gaining valuable insight into the day-to-day operations of the industry.
Responsibilities:

• Assist with day-to-day office and administrative tasks.
  
• Help organize project documents, drawings, files, and other project materials.
  
• Observe and learn about the design, planning, estimating, and construction processes.
  
• Perform other tasks and responsibilities as assigned to support the team.
