Push & Pull Automotive is hiring a Mobile Fleet Technician to deliver reliable on-site repairs and preventative maintenance for commercial trucks, trailers, and fleet equipment. Responsibilities
What You’ll Do:
- Diagnose, repair, and maintain commercial tractors, trailers, and fleet equipment—on mobile road calls and in-yard service
- Keep customers moving by delivering prompt, professional service and clear communication
- Inspect and service brakes, electrical and hydraulic systems, hubs, axles, tires, bodies, and trailer components
- Perform preventative maintenance and test equipment to ensure safe, reliable performance
- Document work accurately through detailed work orders, inspection reports, repair notes, and findings for management
- Maintain DOT-ready standards so trailers meet U.S. Department of Transportation road safety requirements
Qualifications
What You’ll Bring to the Team:
- 4+ years’ experience repairing commercial tractors and trailers; mobile repair experience preferred
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record; CDL preferred
- Physical ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in a hands-on service environment
- Basic computer and communication skills for repair orders, billing, and documentation
- Reliable follow-through to complete daily tasks safely, accurately, and efficiently
- Experience with welding a plus
- Self-motivated and independent mindset
- High School Diploma or equivalent; technical school degree a plus
- Your own tools
