Position: Mining Engineer
We are seeking a skilled Mining Engineer for international projects.
About the role
Provide comprehensive mining operation support to the project, ensuring efficient and effective execution of all responsibilities.
Manage and oversee the project execution, including the allocation of technical and human resources, monitoring of production and economic costs, and coordination of work across various departments.
Plan and supervise earthmoving activities in alignment with technical specifications and project requirements.
Assist with mine planning, including drill and blast operations, and develop schedules to meet operational targets.
Prioritize safety and environmental considerations in all mining activities to ensure compliance with regulations and best practices.
Collaborate with engineers to develop and implement daily, weekly, and monthly plans to optimize production levels.
Prepare detailed weekly and end-of-month reports as required, providing insights and updates on project progress and performance.
About you
Mining Engineering degree.
Strong organisational, communication and planning skills.
Demonstrated positive safety leadership skills and safety behaviour.
Have a very high commitment to health, safety, quality and the environment.
Understanding of mining principles, design concepts and operations (particularly their relation to mining activities).
Team player attitude.
Be able to be relocated abroad.
English proficency.
