Epworth Rehabilitation has an exciting part-time fixed term opportunity for a Grade 1 Social Worker looking to further develop their clinical skills and healthcare experience within a leading hospital setting. The role is based at Epworth Hawthorn in the area of multi-trauma orthopaedic rehabilitation and is a fixed term position of 30.4 hours per week until November 2027.
The successful applicant will provide excellence in patient care to patients and their families. Clinical responsibilities will include undertaking comprehensive psychosocial assessments, delivering patient and family support, navigating compensable systems such as the TAC and WorkCover, and coordinating safe and effective discharge planning within a multidisciplinary team. The role will be based at Epworth Hawthorn with the possibility of working across other interesting clinical areas at our others rehabilitation sites at Richmond and Camberwell.
The successful applicant will be joining an energetic and cohesive clinical team that strives for excellence in patient care and outcomes. The Social Work Department offers a high level of clinical support and supervision, as well as a strong commitment to professional development activities and quality projects.
