At Icomera, we build technology that keeps people connected while they’re on the move. Every day, our solutions deliver fast, reliable internet and digital services on trains, trams, buses, and coaches - supporting millions of passengers across the world.

We're now looking for a System Security Lead to take ownership of system-level cybersecurity across our global customer deliveries. This is a newly created role, offering the opportunity to shape how cybersecurity is managed across complex connected systems while working closely with Engineering, Solution Management, Component Engineering, and customers worldwide.

    Job type: Full-time

    Workplace conditions: Hybrid

    Location: Gothenburg, Sweden

    About the Role

As a System Security Lead, you will be Icomera's subject matter expert for customer solution system-integration cybersecurity. The role focuses on securing complete customer solutions by managing vulnerabilities, assessing system-level impacts, supporting risk assessments, and ensuring compliance with relevant cybersecurity standards.

You will work across customer projects, deployments, and operational environments, acting as the central coordinator for cybersecurity activities between multiple stakeholders. From vulnerability triage and impact assessments to security documentation and assurance activities, you will help ensure that Icomera's solutions remain secure, compliant, and trusted by customers across the globe.

    Key responsibilities

    • Lead system-level vulnerability management activities, including triage, severity assessment, impact analysis, and remediation coordination.
    • Identify affected configurations, components, and customer deployments and work with relevant stakeholders to drive resolution.
    • Provide cybersecurity expertise to support internal teams and customer-facing discussions.
    • Lead and support security risk assessments, and assess how vulnerabilities affect customers integrated system environments in relation to IEC 62443-2-4 requirements.
    • Contribute to Security Case documentation, cybersecurity requirements, assurance evidence, and compliance activities for customer deliveries.

    Requirements

    • Degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Engineering, or a related field.
    • 5+ years of experience working with industrial cybersecurity or critical infrastructure environments.
    • Experience assessing cybersecurity vulnerabilities, analysing system impacts, and supporting security-related decision-making.
    • Strong networking and network engineering knowledge.
    • Knowledge of cybersecurity standards and frameworks such as IEC 62443, TS 50701, or similar.
    • Fluent English communication skills, both written and spoken.

The following skills we see as meritorious:

    • Experience working with railway, transportation, or other regulated industries.
    • Experience performing security risk assessments and interpreting penetration test results.
    • Knowledge of security assurance activities and compliance documentation.
    • Experience evaluating third-party product vulnerabilities and release information from a system perspective.
    • Familiarity with customer-facing cybersecurity discussions and stakeholder management.

    Who You Are

You are a structured and proactive cybersecurity professional who enjoys solving complex challenges and collaborating across technical disciplines. You are comfortable navigating ambiguity, building strong relationships with stakeholders, and translating technical security topics into practical recommendations.

You combine a hands-on approach with strong analytical skills and enjoy taking ownership of critical security activities. Whether you're working with engineers, project teams, suppliers, or customers, you communicate clearly and confidently and can balance technical depth with business needs.
