AS400 Developer

Synopsis of the role:

• The job opening is for an AS400 developer role.
• The technical skill set required for AS400 includes RPGLE, SQLRPGLE, CLLE, XML.
• Tools – Turnover.
• The total experience should be between 3-5 years.

What you’ll do

• Handle development as well as production support activities with very minimal guidance in AS400 as well as .Net
• technologies.
• Should have good analytical skill. Should be able to analyze the requirements/ design, develop and unit test the application, promote the code/objects to various environment levels using Turnover tool.
• Should be able to communicate directly with customers in the Asia region.
• Proactively identify solutions to the issues reported by the customers.
• Provide accurate weekly status to management team.

What experience you need  

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• 3 – 5 years experienced in core development of which a minimum of 2 year should be as core developer in AS400 technology.
• Knowledge of XML, Websphere configurations, and Turnover tool will be an added advantage.
• Should have experience in analyzing the requirements, hands-on development experience and unit testing.

What could set you apart

• Knowledge in Java /.Net (ASP.net, Basics of Kindo UI, Basics of WCF (Web Services)) will be an added advantage.
