Position Description
The role of the Physical Education Aide/Safety Coordinator is to contribute to a safe, supportive, and caring school community especially through the supervision of students during P.E., lunch, and transitions. Additionally, this role supports serving meals, parent communications, valet (student pick-up) and traffic supervision during After School hours.
Hours
2:00pm-6:00pm, Monday - Friday
Responsibilities
- Supervise students during transitions and lunch and ensure that they are exhibiting behaviors consistent with Equitas values.
- Supervise valet (student drop off/pick-up).
- Maintain a safe and structured parking and valet system.
- Assist families and guests with alternative parking solutions.
- Maintain high expectations for student behavior.
- Actively participate in professional development aimed at refining school culture.
- Support in the school office with administrative tasks.
- Follow policies and procedures for health, safety, and nutrition.
- Maintain open lines of communication with staff, families, and other stakeholders.
- Assist School Operations Manager and ELOP Manager with special projects.
- Complete other tasks as assigned by the Principal, School Operations Manager or ELOP Manager.

Minimum Requirements
- Previous experience working with students preferred
- Bilingual Spanish speaker required
- High school diploma or equivalent required; BA or some college preferred
- CPR Certification and First Aid Certificate required within 60 days of hire
- Current CPR and 1st Aid Certificate within 3 months of employment
Salary and benefits
Starting at $22/hour. This is a part-time, hourly position.
