Schedule:
Monday - Friday (6:30am-3pm)
Position overview: The Assembly Worker is responsible for performing all tasks necessary to support departmental efficiency and productivity. This position is assigned to the Assembly Department.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain a safe work environment with a “safety first” mindset.
- Follow all safety processes and procedures.
- Operate power tools and hand tools to complete assigned tasks.
- Assist with the fabrication and assembly of products in any department.
Assembly:
- Assemble and package drain and trench systems using a variety of hand tools.
- Contribute to the overall facility production goals on a daily basis.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must have at least 1 year of manufacturing experience as a Laborer.
- Dependability to report to work.
- Must be able to read a tape measure.
- Must be able to effectively use a variety of hand tools.
- Must be able to read and interpret simple shop drawings.
- Bilingual (English and Spanish, both oral and written) is a plus.
- Must pass a drug screen and background check.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
- Must have a valid state-issued driver’s license.
Education:
- High school diploma or GED preferred

Competencies:
- Ability to prioritize work tasks and multi-task.
- Ability to withstand extreme temperatures (hot and cold) and outside elements.
- Ability to stand/walk/crouch/bend frequently throughout entire shift (up to 10 hours).
- Ability to lift 50 pounds regularly.
- Ability and willingness to work overtime as needed.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, bilingual (English and Spanish) is preferred.
- Must be able to form advantageous work relationships with peers, managers and plant management.
