Job Description & Summary

An Advanced Analyst is expected to have relevant experience in NZ(New Zealand) Tax and Private Client Services. EY GDS Professional skills and responsibilities for this level include preparation of financial statements and tax returns but are not limited to:

Key responsibilities

• Demonstrate a high level of proficiency in tax & Accounting technical knowledge.
• Set performance measurements and ensure that performance goals, including engagement economics, turnaround time and quality targets are met.
• Knowledge of firm policies related to independence, confidentiality and privacy, client acceptance and engagement letters, tax return preparer guidelines and knowledge-sharing.
• Adhere to practice protocol and other internal processes consistently.
• Use straightforward communication, in a structured way, when influencing others.

Eligibility Requirements:

• Having more than 2 years of relevant experience in AU(AUS)/NZ(New Zealand) Tax and Private Client Services.
• Graduate and above in commerce.
• Having exposure to similar experience in a recognized firm.
• Possess sound technical knowledge and communication skills, along with analytical thinking ability.
• Committed, hard-working, able to work long hours, proactive.
