    Junior KYC & AML Analyst


    The opportunity

    As a Junior KYC & AML Analyst, you will be part of EY Global Delivery Services (GDS), supporting global teams in the execution of Know Your Customer (KYC), Anti-Money Laundering
    (AML) and Customer Due Diligence (CDD) activities. You will contribute to regulatory compliance processes, client onboarding reviews and risk assessments for international clients across multiple sectors.

    This role offers an excellent opportunity for recent graduates or professionals with initial experience in compliance, AML or financial services who wish to develop their careers within a leading global professional services firm.

    Your key responsibilities
    •  Perform KYC and Customer Due Diligence (CDD) reviews for individual and corporate clients.
    •  Collect, review and validate identification and corporate documentation.
    •  Identify and analyse Ultimate Beneficial Owners (UBOs) and corporate ownership structures.
    •  Conduct screening activities related to sanctions, Politically Exposed Persons (PEPs) and adverse media.
    •  Analyse screening alerts and document findings in accordance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
    •  Perform corporate research using public and commercial sources.
    •  Maintain accurate records and documentation within internal systems.
    •  Assist in the preparation of reports and risk assessments.

    To qualify for the role, you must have

    •  Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Law, Criminology, International Relations or a related field.
    •  1 or 2 years of experience in KYC, AML, Compliance, Financial Crime, Customer Onboarding or related areas.
    •  Understanding of AML/CTF regulations and KYC principles.
    •  Knowledge of sanctions screening, PEP screening and adverse media reviews.
    •  Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel.
    •  Fluent English, both written and spoken (minimum B2 level).

    Ideally, you'll also have
    •  Previous experience within a financial institution, consulting firm, fintech or compliance environment.
    •  Knowledge of international AML regulations and regulatory frameworks.
    •  Additional languages beyond English and Spanish.
    •  Experience working in shared service or global delivery environments.
    •  Experience using corporate intelligence and research databases such as:
    Orbis
    Axesor
    Dow Jones
    SABI
    Moody's
    World-Check
    Or similar platforms
