Job Title: Tax Junior, Associate and Senior – Indirect Tax & Payroll (South Africa)
Location: Mauritius (supporting South African clients)

Role Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented professional to join our Indirect Tax and Payroll team, supporting South African clients. The role involves end-to-end VAT compliance, payroll tax processing, and client service delivery in a deadline-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and review VAT returns in line with SARS requirements
- Perform VAT reconciliations, including input/output VAT analysis
- Manage monthly payroll tax compliance, including PAYE, UIF, and SDL submissions
- Ensure timely e-filing submissions and payments to SARS
- Review and validate client data (AR/AP schedules, payroll inputs)
- Handle tax registrations, deregistrations, and amendments
- Support SARS queries, verifications, and audits
- Liaise with clients and internal teams to resolve queries and ensure accurate reporting
- Maintain proper documentation and audit-ready working papers
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Tax, or related field
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Good communication and stakeholder management skills
