Position Summary:

We are seeking a seasoned Ruby and Python Software Developer who will be responsible for developing

monitoring and automation solutions for SkyHigh Operations and Engineering teams. The ideal candidate will be

self-motivated, articulate, and is comfortable working in a fast-paced development environment. Your primary

mission as a Ruby and Python Software Developer is working closely with the Technical Operations and

Engineering teams, to ensure the timely delivery of robust monitoring and automation solutions for SkyHigh

systems.

Responsibilities :

• Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable Ruby and Python code

• Develop and maintain monitoring and automation solution for Operations and Engineering projects that

eliminate repetitive tasks and prevent incident occurrence

• Work with Engineering and Technical Operations team to identify and implement improvements in the

current system and application monitoring solutions

• Help maintain code quality, organization and automation

Qualifications:

• Solid understanding of the Ruby and Python languages

• Solid understanding of object-oriented programming

• Basic understanding of front-end technologies, such as JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3

• Familiarity with concepts of MVC, Mocking, ORM, and RESTful

• A knack for writing clean, readable Ruby and Python code

• Understanding of fundamental design principles behind a scalable application

• Experience with source control tools such as GIT/GitHub, SVN, or Perforce

• Familiarity with continuous integration
